What not to draw for business
Do you have a creative urge and want to use sketches in your business?
Yay!
But.
If you post drawings of landscapes, coffee cups, or your scary-cute dolls, people will probably like them and comment with “beautiful, you're so talented.”
But will it bring you clients? Probably not.
Instead of creating random stuff, communicate your message.
There is plenty of room for creativity:
- Sketch diagrams to show expertise
- Draw something that inspires your customers.
- Draw what is happening in your business.
- Doodle your life story as it relates to your current offer
You could, for example, draw a roadmap of your life for your illustrated signature workshop!
In the Visual Minds Programme, we use a framework that helps you tell all the stories relevant to your business – while having a ton of fun sketching!
More about the framework tomorrow.
Oh, and there is nothing wrong with showing your landscape drawings and your scary-cute dolls once in a while.
If you ask me nicely, I'll show you what I'm playing with when I'm not "on brand."

P.S. I’m looking for 7 people to join a new case study group inside the Visual Minds Membership. Over the next 6-8 weeks, you can create your signature workshop - illustrated by you!
The result? Clarity about your message, a marketing method that brings you clients, and sketching skills you can use for the rest of your life.
The doors close next Thursday!
Would you like to join us? Let me know, and I send you the details.
