Brand in a Nutshell Portrait
In my last Big Picture workshop, I shared my journey from a "tall girl in a small city" desperately trying to fit in, to helping my clients how to stand out.
Storytellers call this the "backstory".
Overcoming a fear or challenge makes your story relatable.
Remember, a "signature story" doesn't have to be a 1:1 representation of your life.
To help you find your own story, I’ve created the "Brand in a Nutshell" portrait.
On the left side, list items that show your "authority," and on the right, items that demonstrate "empathy."
Drawing your own portrait will help you clarify your title, promise, and why your clients like and trust you.
P.S. This exercise is great even if you will not publish it anywhere. You can translate it to a photo with a caption.
But then... a drawing is so much more fun!
