I've been reflecting on "making an offer" lately.

Back in my graphic design days, when I just relied on word-of-mouth, I didn't make offers. The word alone made me queasy.

But now, I see "offer" in a different light.

It is not (necessarily) salesy.

Offering your work is also about connecting, about sharing a part of yourself.

Like inviting someone to dance.

Yes, it can be a bit scary stepping out of that comfort zone. But it is also exciting!

It's about putting out there what you have and being open to the response.

What's important is that you're dancing to your rhythm, even if they don't join you in this round.

If you have an offer you're excited to share, it can become the living heart of your brand.
