That was me for the longest time. And as an artist and designer, I beat myself up about not being able to draw the ideas I had in my head.

It never occurred to me that I could simplify my ideas!

That's why I now recognize when students are trying to achieve too much at once – and then blaming their "lack of talent" if it doesn't work.

If you're struggling with illustrating your idea, it might be too complicated or too vague.

Remember - if your message can't be illustrated, it isn't clear enough!
